Artist Yoshiko Yamamoto is a self-taught block printmaker who strives always to fuse Japanese design sensibility with fine craftsmanship. This striking tile is from a collaboration between Yamamoto and Motawi Tileworks, which sees Yamamoto's graceful, swaying scenes beautifully brought to life in clay.
"Redwood" is taken from a Yamamoto wood block print of the same name.
- Actual Tile Size: Approximately 5 7/8” x 7 7/8”.
- As each Motawi tile is crafted by hand, dimensions may vary slightly by up to 1/16".
- Tiles are 5/8" thick and have a notch at the back for hanging.
