This striking fridge magnet features a California juniper (Juniperus californica), bunjin (literati or abstract style) bonsai, which is over 500 years old.
It was originally collected from the Mojave Desert, and is currently displayed in a Tokoname pot from Japan in The Huntington Bonsai Collection. Original photo by Andrew Mitchell.
