The design on this gorgeously decorated tin plate is taken from a Feuillet porcelain plate, made in the Sèvres style, c.1830.
It is one of a dessert service acquired by the 6th Duke of Devonshire (1790-1858) and is on display in the Great Dining Room at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, England.
