CHRYSANTHEMUMS IN ROUND CANVAS TOTE

$50.00

What is a garden, and what can you do with one?

Focusing on the gardens of China’s literati during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368–1912), The Huntington’s “Growing and Knowing in the Gardens of China” exhibition illuminates gardens as transformative spaces. It explores gardens as spaces for growing and contemplating plants to better understand the world around us and our place in it.

Celebrating this new exhibition, this cotton tote features Chrysanthemums in Round, an artwork in the Ten Bamboo Studio Manual of Calligraphy and Painting 十竹齋書畫譜, vol. 3, dated 1633 from the Ming dynasty, a copy of which resides in The Huntington's Library collection.
