Marianne North was a remarkable Victorian artist and botanist who travelled the world, breaking conventions and discovering new species of fauna and flora.

Over her 14 years of global travel and adventure she created 848 paintings and even documented species that were not previously known to science.

This striking Hydrangea print kimono takes inspiration from North's archive of paintings and samples, which is held by the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, England.

This lightweight throwover makes the perfect cover up. It is mid-length with an open front and loose arms, perfect for the warmer months or worn on holiday as the ideal resort wear. You can choose to tie at the front to add a little extra detail or your outfit or leave open for a relaxed and floaty look.
