MAHER WINDOW BOOKMARK

$16.95

Installed in the Huntington's Virginia Steele Scott Galleries of American Art is this window designed by George Washington Maher and Louis Millet.

For the James Patten House of 1901, Maher chose a thistle motif which he used in numerous variations, juxtaposed with geometric figures, throughout the house. This window was one of a set of three from the Patten House grand entry hall and was designed by Maher and produced under the direction of stained-glass artist Louis Millet.
